Blessing of the Animals
We had a beautiful day for the Blessing of the Animals. Rabbits, horses, dogs, and their owners all gathered on the front lawn to experience the service created in honor of St. Francis. |

The youth groups attended a Reformation Party at St. David’s in West Columbia. A good time was had by all as we competed for the Marty Trophy! |

"Just For Life" Lutheridge Day Camp
June 23-27, 2008, Lutheridge Day Camp was held at St. Stephen’s. Lutheridge counselors were on hand to lead exciting crafts, games and Bible lessons, outings and service work. |

Good Time Travelers, Day Trip To Augusta
On April 17, 2008, the Good Time Travelers loaded the bus at 8:00AM to begin their day trip to Augusta, GA. They toured Woodrow Wilson’s boyhood home, where he lived from ages 3-13, and the very special Wilson 150: the exhibition. After the tour they enjoyed lunch together at Beamie’s by the river in downtown Augusta, enjoyed the Savannah River Walk and made a quick stop by the Farmer’s Market in Aiken.

Golf Dinner & Awards Celebration
On Sunday, May 11, the Day of Pentecost, 23 St. Stephen's youth who had completed their catechetical instruction affirmed their faith at the 11:00AM service as they participated in the rite of Affirmation of Baptism - Confirmation. The Affirmation of Baptism is a very significant step in the "faith journey" of every maturing Christian.

Good Time Travelers, Kensington Mansion
On May 16, 2008, the Good Time Travelers boarded the bus at 8:30am and headed for a lovely day at Kensington Plantation in Eastover, SC. The mansion was completed in 1854. It is an Italianate Revival structure, furnished with decorative arts from the Victorian period. The tour took approximately 1 hour. Before heading back home, they enjoyed lunch at Mr. Bunky's.

Easter Eggstravaganza - 2008
On March 22, 2008, children ages 18 months to 4th grade and their parents gatered at St. Stephen's for an Easter Eggstravaganza! We started our morning with an Easter object lesson and then the kids headed to different areas for a HUGE Easter egg hunt. We wrapped up our morning with a delicious edible craft!

Good Time Travelers - Charleston 2008
On March 19 - 20, 2008, our lively bunch of Senior Adults, fondly known as the Good Time Travelers, loaded up the bus and headed to Charleston, SC. We had the pleasure of taking part in the 61st annual Festival of Houses & Gardens where we got to tour homes dating back to the 1700s. Other highlights of our trip were wonderful meals full of seafood, breakfast overlooking the bay and strolling around the market. |
